Design Infinity was contracted for the fit-out of the new Zayed University campus design in Dubai. Upon walking in, it’s hard to imagine that this is a university, as one gets the sense of more a contemporary cool five-star resort. The overall design is slick, with a base palette of wood that has been used in unique and unconventional yet incredibly challenging and aesthetically pleasing ways. Cloud-like lighting drops down from the double-height ceilings and the natural atmosphere that is replicated is reminiscent of a modern, stylized forest. Special touches include a table tennis table that is made out of wood and seems to blend into its surroundings beautifully.
